Bereavement and Grief Therapy [CGT] & Prolonged Grief Treatment [PGT]

Bereavement and Grief Therapy [CGT] is an intervention designed to help in coping with a pending loss of loved one (including self) and/or loss of loved one via acceptance and finding meaning in the context of this loss.  The goal is to achieve the stages of grieving as these occur, i.e. denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance, and finding meaning.  Prolonged Grief Treatment [PGT] is a time-limited specialization and intervention for individual "stuck" in their six grieving milestones, i.e. denial, anger, bargaining, depression, acceptance, and finding meaning.  PGT follows a specific manual treatment and assessment at its core of its time-limited intervention.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy [DBT]

Dialectical Behavior Therapy is a specialized intervention which targets more difficult and challenging emotional regulation difficulties.  DBT focused on intense and highly reactive emotional dysregulation usually resulting from interpersonal relationships, difficulties with self-identity issues, and/or negative thoughts/behaviors.  Our DBT intervention focus is to increase the ability to tolerate distressing and reactive emotions, improve and develop healthy coping and problem-solving skills, with mindfulness and healthy acceptance of self and within the context of interpersonal relationships.

Trauma Work - Cognitive Processing Therapy, BrainSpotting Therapy & Prolonged Exposure Therapy

The interventions and specializations of Cognitive Processing Therapy, BrainSpotting Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure therapy address an in-depth focus on trauma related thoughts which contribute to feeling "stuck" in the traumatic event.  The focus of these evidenced-based interventions is to focus on underlying beliefs resulting from trauma as these relate to the physical-body memory and cognitive-informational memory to decrease and cease reactivation of trauma-related triggers.
