Hello

My professional experience includes both adult outpatient and inpatient mental health therapeutic and clinical treatment setting, with over 15 years of experience in both direct care mental health service as well as in administration.  In my therapeutic clinical capacity, this focused on on developing individual and group interventions and prevention treatment, with an evidenced-based and integrated mental health focus.  These interventions also focused on research and utilization management, to streamline interventions, and achieve positive treatment outcomes, i.e. achieve symptom remission and increased quality of life

I began my professional journey with obtaining my Bachelors Degree from the University of Kansas in Psychology and Germanic Languages and Literatures, with a focus on European Studies.  My graduate studies took me to the University of Central Florida where I received my Masters in Social Work (Clinical and Policy focus) and graduated Summa Cum Laude from UCF's College of Public Health and Professional Sciences.  My last and most recent obtained degree has been a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the CUNY City College of New York Colin Powell School for Civic and Global Leadership.  My post-graduate educational training has focused on areas of specialization and certifications in the areas of integrated mental health, anxiety, trauma, personality disorders, depressive disorders, anger management, and many more.  I continue to give back with professional supervision to students when able to.  I completed and obtained my post-graduate training in Seminar in Field Instruction Certification [SIFI] from CUNY Hunter College School of Social Work.  I am a published author in the field of social work as well.  I believe that my educational and professional journey will not stop -- and I don't have any plans for it to... !
