New York State Licensed Clinical Social Worker - R Privilege
DBTNCAA Dialectical Behavior Therapy Certified Therapist (DBTC)
I am a NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years experience in integrated mental health and substance abuse care and treatment. As a provider, I have worked extensively in inpatient and outpatient behavioral facilities to address need and care, as well as to streamline and improve services in both inpatient and outpatient settings which I continue to do. I am passionate in continuing to help people achieve their own personal growth and potential.
In my private practice, I focus on treating and helping issues concerning and focusing on anger, depression, mood disorders, dual diagnosis, domestic violence, eating disorders, anxiety disorders (including obsessive compulsive disorders, panic disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder and traumatic brain injury), personality disorders, and grief and bereavement. My practice style is goal-oriented and strengths-focused, mutual, integrated, and individually centered. I love working with individuals, couples, and families and I provide a secure and safe environment to do this in.
CRS (Center for Remembering & Sharing) is an arts and healing center, founded by Yasuko Kasaki. CRS offers independently guided meditations, counseling, A Course in Miracles group studies, artist residencies, art/dance/drama classes and workshops, mind/body/spirit healing therapies, and opportunities to present, perform, exhibit or publish.
The center also offers art exhibits for local Japanese artists, dance/yoga classes, massage/reiki therapy, and cultural events to partake in your own free time. Costs are separate and I encourage you to explore the available avenues offered at the center to expand yourself holistically.
